Nexus Newspaper Strip Timeline Update

We're pleased to announce that www.RudeDudeProductions.com is now live.

We had originally planned to release digitally via Comixology, however, they do not accept comics under 8 pages.  We will be releasing the files via our website www.SteveRude.com which has support for digital files.  We are trying to determine how to automatically get files to you.

Comixology will run our monthly newspaper the first Wednesday of every month starting February 3rd.

I am working with our host, CrateJoy, to get the subscriptions transferred over with the option to renew at the same price paid on Kickstarter.

First digital file coming next week and first subscription box coming mid February!

Moving Forward: Release Dates Set

Steve has the first 25 strips ready for the colorist and another 40 in the works. We will end up with nearly double the number of pages originally planned.  Baron and Rude have an amazing story in the works!

We had to look around for a new printer as we found out our supplier did not have archival safe paper and could not print more than 8 pages in color.  Since we've upped the quality of the paper we are able to go back to our printer that does our sketchbooks and we are awaiting 3 sample prints of the Nexus Strip on different papers to see what weight Steve likes best.

DIGITAL RELEASE SCHEDULE:
     -Strip released to Kickstarter backers on Monday
     -Strip released to presale backers the next week Tuesday
     -Strip released on the website and Comixology the next day (Wednesday)
     -A compilation of all strips for that month released the following month

 Gearing up for the 35th Anniversary Baron and Rude and together in Phoenix working on the Nexus Compendium.  The full story behind the legendary creation of Mike Baron and Steve Rude.

We will be running a Kickstarter for the anniversary book and including a 6-page printed promo of the Nexus Newspaper Comic Strip.  We will be making a digital copy available to backers within the next few days when it's completed.  We are currently working on the last page!
